Highlands of the Heartland Cattle Co. is located in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa. We specialize in raising Miniature Scottish Highland Cattle.
Being in Iowa, miniature cattle is not the only thing we do. We farm corn, soybeans, hay and have a commercial beef operation as well! and what's a farm without chickens and a miniature pony?!
We started raising miniature highlands as a "hobby herd" a way for our children to be involved with our livestock at a young age because who doesn't love tiny, furry four legged friends?! We love seeing these animals go to homes where they can bring joy to families who also desire a "hobby herd" or some are even considered pets!
